It's important to understand that some individuals' may experience “purging” of the skin once they start using oil based products. Purging is when clogged pores become unclogged when starting to use oil based products. Pimples or blackheads could get worse during this time, but it’s important you continue using the products through this time to ensure all dirt and debris deep inside the pores is removed. This could last anywhere from a week to a month and a half depending on where your skin is in the skin cycle. Our best selling Starseed Serum works to balance, brighten, regenerate, soothe and hydrate any skin type. Both the Starseed and Forest Gold are made with natural retinol “Bakuchiol”. This powerful oil has been proven to give the same results as retinol without the harmful side effects of retinol.
Balms sit on the top surface of the skin and moisturizer and locks in moisture. Your balm also aids in protecting your skin from free radicals, environmental damage, toxins and all that other gunk you want to keep out of your pores. Balms are solid in texture, do not contain water, and very concentrated so a little goes a long way. They are ideal in the winter months by providing an ample barrier against the harsh cold winds. Most of our products are vegan with the exception of some of the balms which contain local organic beeswax from bees that live in our very own backyard. Facial cleansers, serums, revitalizing mists, masks and body oils are all vegan.
